Multiple and random BSOD crashes and freezes

    Hello tenforums,

For the last two months, I've been getting multiple errors on my Windows 11 version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.2048).

I use almost daily my GPU for coding purposes and use cuda for data science tasks.

At first, the BSOD often happened when I plugged in my computer or when I didn't touch while executing some Python scripts.
I had the KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and HYPERVISOR_ERROR BSODs back then.

Now I don't have them as much as before but DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION started appearing these last few weeks.

I updated my AMD and Nvidia drivers, and used a third-party software to update the remaining ones.
I disabled hypervisor (kind of fixed hypervisor error, it can reappear from time to time) and disabled driver verifier (instantly fixed the driver_verifier_detected_violation).

Also, PC has very high temperatures and makes a lot of fan noises and shuts down when playing games.

Here's the V2 log collector link : V2 Log Collector Output

Thanks a lot for your help!

All five dumps are pretty much identical, they are all 0xC4 bugchecks, a DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION. Driver Verifier is designed to BSOD when it detects a flaky third-party driver. In the case of all five dumps that driver was AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys, an AMD overclocking tool driver....
    Code:
    FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: 0xc4_62_VRF_LEAKED_POOL_IMAGE_AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys
The version of this driver that you have installed is over a year old...
    Code:
    0: kd> lmDvmAMDRyzenMasterDriver
    Browse full module list
    start end module name

        Information from resource tables:
I suggest you update this driver.

However, in addition I note that you're running Windows 11, but HP do not provide any Windows 11 drivers for that laptop. In most cases that's not usually a problem, but laptops often need customised versions of some drivers so you might have problems in the future as Windows 11 evolves.

I also note that your BIOS version is dated 16th Sept 202, whilst the HP downloads site for your laptop has a BIOS version dated 7th May 2023. If you intend to stick with Windows 11 I would suggest you update your BIOS to the latest version - although even this version is designed for Windows 10.

    Thanks, I'll update this driver.
I will also downgrade my PC from Windows 11 to Windows 10, and update everything again.

I wasn't suggesting that you downgrade to Windows 10, just be aware that you might run into problems in the future.
