BSOD whea untraceable error New build/fresh windows on samsung 980pro

Hello, I am experiencing this bsod (error whea untraceable error) that occurs whenever I load up a game, it happens during diagnostics through Samsung magician, I've even had it happen while browsing the net. I recently rebuilt my pc keeping my old drives but upgrading to m.2 storage. I did a clean windows install with only the samsung 980 connected, started patching drivers etc for my gpu/cpu. Install seemed smooth, but about two hours in it crashed for the first time on the build while browsing youtube. Used event viewer to see dmp contents, (reported by processor core, Error source: Machine check exception Error type: Bus/interconnect error Processor apic id:8) plan to update my bios, and check voltages to my cpu and see if I cant get it stable

What BSOD data collection tool did you run? The output doesn't match the V2 log collector output that I would expect. The System log covers only one day, and not even all of that. The System log shouldn't be cleared, it's a valuable source of historical patterns that can help diagnose the problem.

All that said, this looks very much like a CPU issue from the dumps. I would suggest you stress the CPU with Prime95. This will make your CPU run hot, so you MUST also use some temperature monitoring software, something like Core Temp. Your 5900X should run Prime95 successfully even though it will get hot, but if it gets too hot you need to be prepared to stop Prime95 - although that in itself would tend to suggest a CPU problem.

When you run Prime95 run each of the Small FFTs, In-place large FFTs, and Blend one at a time. If the PC crashes, BSODs, or overheats you almost certainly have a CPU issue.
