KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (139) Occurs when trying to open Destiny

    Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19045) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)

Sometimes (about 60% of the time) I try to open Destiny 2 via steam and get the BSOD error KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

Here is the file I created with the V2 log collector:
Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

    Thanks for yalls time!

Please perform the following steps: (in sequence)

    1) Run: Tuneup plus

    https://www.tenforums.com/attachment...p_plus_log.bat

Post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

    2) Run: HD Tune (free or trial version) (all drives)
    HD Tune website
Post images or share links for results on these tabs:
    a) Health
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full Error scan

    3) Temporarily uninstall all gaming software that uses BattleEye or bedaisy.sys

Plan to reinstall these gaming software later in this thread.

    4) Uninstall and reinstall:

    focusriteusb.sys
    Focusrite USB Driver

    focusriteusb Focusrite USB Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\focusriteusb.sys

    5) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

    chkdsk /b /v

Run these chkdsk switches on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /b /v C: or chkdsk /b /v D: or chkdsk /b /v E: etc.

These chkdsk switches can take significant time so make sure that the Windows drive runs overnight while sleeping.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>chkdsk /b /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y

    Reboot as needed.

    6) After completing chkdsk switches on all disk drives run:

    https://www.tenforums.com/attachment...kfromevent.bat

Post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

    7) Make a new restore point:
Create System Restore Point in Windows 10

    8) The BIOS: Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 2803, 4/27/2022

    Upgrade the BIOS: 2803 > 3002

    TUF GAMING B550-PRO - Support

    9) For any new BSOD run the V2 log collector and post a share link into the newest post

    10) If the computer remains stable plan to reinstall gaming software using BattleEye

    11) These steps can run overnight while sleeping:

    a) HD Tune Full Error scan
    b) Chkdsk /b /v

    C:

    Code:
    4 KB in bad sectors
