    Volmgr 161 BSOD


    Hey all, thank you for your time in advance. I’ve been working to fix my custom built PC for 3+ years now, as I’ve experienced the same BSOD throughout 10+ fresh windows installations, changing every single part of the PC, taken it to two different professionals… I’ve been through it all with this thing.

    Specs:
    Windows 10 Home edition (64bit)
    Asus ROG z590e-gaming mobo
    AORUS RTX3080 master edition
    Intel i7-10700k CPU
    64gb (16x4) Ballistix RAM 3600 Mhz
    860 Platinum corsair PSU
    Samsung 970 evo plus NVMe SSD (also tried a WD SSD, and took that out thinking it was the culprit).

    The errors present are always in this order:
    Error: EventLog 6008
    Error: volmgr 161
    Critical: Kernel-Power 41
    Error: EventLog 1101
    Error: WHEA-Logger Event 1

    Hi, for BSOD analysis, please post in the specialised BSOD section, following the special instructions there on providing a log using the tool those instructions tell you to use.

    Also provide the full build number as per the forum instructions you will have seen. Thanks.
