    need some help with bsod


    Hey everyone,

    been having these crashes for about 24 hours out of the blue (nice pun lol). I noticed the issue began after I pre-installed diablo 4. Apparently I was using a slightly older gpu driver which I updated the issue persisted tried rolling back the updates after which I did some windows updates the issue was still there, removed some of these and installed older versions of them and the issue was still occurring.

    Only way I could replicate the error seems to be by opening multiple instances of WoW for example or capturing software such as OBS.

    So yeah, tldr need a bit of a hand from what I've gathered if I understand the reports correctly it seems to be a driver?

    It's your GPU driver most likely. 99% of all BSODs are hardware or driver related.

    Don't let Windows hose over your drivers. How to Stop Automatic Driver Updates on Windows

    Download the older GPU driver and use Safe Mode to uninstall the last. Actually go to NVIDIA's or AMD's website...

    We got here a couple of different bugcheck codes, if this is a GPU problem it's one of a kind. There are a few illegal instruction executions, an unsupported programming interface error and a few pagefaults.

    Do the crashes continue when you remove Diablo? I saw Diablo's release date being in June 2023. If removing Diablo rids you of the crashes, I would recommend taking this to their support so they can fix this.
