    ThankYou...

Open the Command Prompt with administrative privileges and one at a time execute below commands.

    First: Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    Then: Sfc /scannow

    No answer....have you had lunch?

Are you so PC-savvy that you can switch between Windows 10 and Windows 11, surely it can't be that difficult to execute some rather simple commands?

OK, it took a while, the first time running dism it frooze and I had to hard reset the laptop. The second time it finished without issues. The sfc scan found corrupt files, here's the log file it created.

Look I appreciate the help, but the scan took a while to finish, what can I say. You can't open a text based log file? It contains multiple corruption logs, so I thought it would be easier to find them that way. But here you go, the last corruption log:

2023-01-31 11:28:33, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Corrupt file: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\bthmodem.sys
2023-01-31 11:28:33, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Repaired file: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\bthmodem.sys

    ThankYou

...bthmodem.sys is Microsoft Windows Bluetooth communications system driver file.

    Let me investigate little bit.

If you're getting missing bthmodem.sys file errors or other errors with the bthmodem.sys file we suggest that you re-install the program, uninstall and re-install a more up-to-date version, or check to see if any updates are available for the program associated with the file instead of attempting to copy a new version of the file to the computer.
    Attachment 384678

So, this will refresh the Bluetooth.

OK thanks, I'll give that a try and report back.

HP also have this site with three diagnostic tools.
Usually HP know what they are doing, but personally I have never tried this. But it is worth a try.

Another options could be to upgrade your OS to a higher version with an ISO.
It will also make a repair.
I guess you are familiar with this already.

Before you pick an ISO, you have to be sure about the language.
    Then:
    DISM /online /get-intl
    in CMD(adm).

In the report it will also show:
"Default system UI language" that also should be the language for your ISO.

    Are you familiar with UUPDUMP?
Select language for Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22621.1245 (ni_release) amd64 - UUP dump
