    IRQL jraid.sys bsod

Ive Been having IRQL Not Less Or Equal BSOD - what Failed: JRAID.SYS

Ive run memory Diag tool - no errors, scanned hardware, SFC.
Looked into the dump files using bluescreenviewer, got following:

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: ffff810b37790eca, memory referenced
    Arg2: 0000000000000005, IRQL
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: fffff80552d54356, address which referenced memory

jraid.sys is a driver from JMicron's SATA controller. I suggest you check in Google if there are newer drivers for it somewhere, and if they are not there, in Device Manager through the "update driver software" option, replace the JMicron driver with the Microsoft driver (Standard SATA AHCI controller)

JMicron does not carry the driver. Out of date antique hardware driver from 2012.

    Thx for reply.
I found the driver in device manager, storage controllers. Has 2 entries, Jmicron JBM36X Controller & Microsoft storage spaces controller. Ive tried to update JBM36X from within Device Manager but am told best driver already installed. Driver date 29/10/2009. version 1.17.52.2. Gives option to check using win updates, doesnt find anything.
Checked on Jmicron website but they have nothing listed under JBM36x or 1.17.52.2
I've spent last few hours on google trying to find it but most lead to Install software to get the driver.
I found the following but was unsure:
    http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.....aspx?q=jmb36x

Top option says its for a X86 architecture though & Im on 64bit. dont know if this matters or if this compatable with Win 10

    Architecture: X86
    Classification: Drivers
Supported products: Windows 8 , Windows 8.1 and later drivers , Windows 10 Creators Update and Later Servicing Drivers

Would appreciate some advice before I continue, or If some one has a better file location.
    Thx for any help

Again, you are not going to get a newer driver. Get rid of it since it is not needed with Windows 10.

There is no updated driver, which means that you can either delete it from the system, install Linux and hope that it has drivers, or update the hardware completely.
