    BSOD video tdr failure atikmpag.sys

BSOD on every startup "video tdr failure" "atikmpag.sys"

This is happening with my laptop Sony Vaio VPCCA, specs:

    i5-2410M
    4 GB
    AMD Radeon HD 6630M / Intel® HD Graphics 3000

It's pretty old, maybe around 13 years now.

This issue began happening some years ago (maybe 6 years ago) and i simply went with disabling the AMD software from startup just to stop the BSOD, now i need to get the GPU working so i can use Night Light.

Did a fresh OS install, didn't do anything other than connect to the internet and as soon as Windows installed the GPU's driver the screen either goes black forever or it goes back followed by BSOD then it's a BSOD on every single startup, did this on couple of fresh OS installs, tried installing other AMD drivers, on W10 with the latest version and updates all installed...same problem.

    V2 Log attached.

    I see.

What can i do about this? i mean is there any way to get rid of the dead GPU so i can use the Intel GPU? maybe some way to stop windows from updating the device? (since using "disable auto updates and driver updates as a .reg isn't working and intel's graphic options won't appear unless the said dead GPU is enabled) or maybe get it removed from the motherboard? I've seen it and it seems to be glued or part of the motherboard, anyway if it's possible to pull it off the motherboard then I'm all in for that....

you would have to look up the specs and all to see, but likely it is part of the board and not a module on one of that age

It's just like this, the AMD is the one to the right.
