    ~1 BSOD per day, different messages


    Hi,

    I'm having around 1 BSOD per day (some days they are 2 or 3, but it's rare to have a day without a BSOD).

    I've built this PC in 2019. I had the ocasional BSOD in the begining also because the motherboard, CPU and GPU had just came out, so BIOS and drivers were somewhat unstable. But they eventually got better and for a while I assumed the problems were gone.
    I would then get the ocasional BSOD, but it was a rare thing.

    Eventually it got worse again and I can't thing of any specific thing that could have triggered it.
    This has been happening for a while now. Maybe for a year, maybe more.

    I'm tired of this problem as I work from home as a web developer and it sometimes occurs during important meetings, but it can occur at any time, even when the PC is pretty idle!. So I'm seeking for your help.

    Some info that may be relevant:
    - It happens with the XMP profile both on and off.
    - Originally I had OS installed in the Samsung EVO SSD, but 2 months ago I formatted and installed it in a new NVME SSD, so the problem persists through formatting.
    - Lots of different things show up in the "stop code" and "what failed" information during the BSOD.

    I have another unrelated (I think) problem since I've installed the OS in the NVME. The PC doesn't detect it initially and goes into the BIOS (it doesn't even show up there in the storage devices list), it will only load windows once I "exit BIOS without saving". It then detects it and starts booting windows. I need to do this every time I turn on the PC.

    The BIOS you are using is not available on the MSI website (retired due to bugs?) So maybe update it to version 1J (September 6th) - MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI

    Thanks for the heads up. Just updated it. Let's see if it improves in any way, but my hopes aren't too high, as I've been updating the BIOS consistently since I built the PC.

    I didn't use the PC yesterday, so I can't talk about BSODs yet (none today so far), but one thing that changed is that now instead of the PC booting into the BIOS because it doesn't detect the NVME, it doesn't even do that, it now just shows a "Reboot and select a proper boot device", so I have to press DEL myself to go to the BIOS (and do the "quit without saving" thing), which is even worse.

    Update:
    The BIOS update has resetted some (or all?) config, so it went to CSM instead of UEFI, that's why it started showing the "Reboot and select a proper boot device" message. After changing it back to UEFI, it went back to the previous behavior, it boots directly into the BIOS (still doesn't detect the NVME at that point, only after I do "exit without saving changes").

    As for BSODs, it happened yesterday again, so the BIOS update didn't solve it.

    Ran the V2 Collector again:
