Regular BSODs thought to have been caused by Riot Vanguard (vgk.sys)

    Hi.

I am using a Lenovo Ideapad l340, i7-9750H, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650, 16 GB ram. A year ago Lenovo replaced its faulty motherboard, but after that, I had BSOD issues which I initially thought was caused by outdated drivers but I guess wasn't because it still happens now even when I regularly check for driver updates. I recently upgraded my RAM but the BSODs were still happening so I suppose that wasn't the problem.

The situation is, I'm getting a lot of BSODs when I have Riot Vanguard, an anti-cheat software by Riot Games, running in the background. When I turn it off, I thought I wouldn't get any more until just an hour ago when a BSOD occurred while I was downloading a game from the Epic Games Store.

My Windows Version Number is 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1706). I have attached the logs gathered using your V2 log collector.

BSoDs caused by anti-cheat software are not a simple matter as more and more MMO games are installing this software and require it to be enabled in order to run at all. In general, I can try to recommend that you uninstall both the game and this anti-cheat software and reinstall the game with this software, or you can try disabling your antivirus (if you have one besides Windows Defender) and other programs that may conflict with Vanguard

Hi MrPepka! I appreciate you taking time to delve into my query.

I have tried reinstalling the anti-cheat software and the game that runs with it multiple times to no avail. The BSoDs also happened even before I installed Malwarebytes, when I only had Windows Defender.

EDIT: In addition to the BSoDs, there are also instances where Windows Desktop Manager uses up too much RAM, as high as 3 GB and also 10% GPU utilization. I forgot to add this into the main post.
