    Unknown BSOD!

    Hi forum,

    Does anybody know what type of BSOD is this? I thought the problem was the display, but by changing it, the same result! No windows update, driver, or new app was installed before that!

    How can I read the error code?! Did you have such an unknown BSOD?!

    Your specs say you are running Windows 10 21H1 Enterprise (x64) on a laptop. Is this a work machine? If so, I would suggest you contact your corporate IT guy and have him take a look.

    @f14tomcat

    That is my sister's laptop (both have the same OS)! She is not here! I did touch nothing. I just did power it up to do some routine stuff on her laptop. I have tested its HDD, fortunately, all data are OK.

    I'm sure your sister will be happy to hear all data is ok. How did you check the HDD and data when you kept getting the Rainbow BSOD?

    If you leave the lappy running does it restart by itself as it states in the message ?

    @f14tomcat I disassembled its HDD, and I checked it on my system.

    @COMPUTIAC No! Just the fan and power button are always on! Till I push the button for the 5 seconds (force shutdown). No beep or any sound to find out the problem! (I think the RAM is OK too!)

    It made me sweat. I don't have enough money to buy a new laptop!!!

    May be the laptop's integrated video adapter.

    Do you have a Rescue thumb drive (USB drive) you can boot from? It would eliminate anything on the OS. The Windows Rescue Media is fine, or a Linux distro would do.

    I am thinking about it! I have, but I don't know where that is. I have Windows 10 ISO. I can make a bootable thumb drive with it. But the main problem is that the boot menu (BIOS settings) doesn't work! As far as I can remember, TAB or DEL Key was its BIOS setting key. By pressing those buttons, nothing appears.

    I didn't check, but I think the F12 (boot menu key) is not working too.

    F2 usually goes directly to BIOS

    I have checked that. That didn't work.
