    Random BSOD crashes after week of non use


    Hi everyone,

    So yeah, I haven't used my PC this week, it's been in sleep mode the entire week.
    When I last used it last week it ran fine.

    Now it keeps randomly crashing. The dmp files refer to WIndows Defender being the culprit.
    I've already updated WIndows and my Nvidia driver, but it keeps crashing.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Disable Driver Verifier if you are not using it

    Huh, yeah that's probably something I shouldn't leave running :)
    Thanks MrPepka, I completely forgot that I had that going. Disabled it now, will update the thread if the PC keeps crashing / mark it as solved if that fixed it.
