    BSOD Driver_power_state_failure keeps happening

    Hey everyone c:

My Dell laptop has been running into this BSOD recently that randomly occurs while the laptop has been running for a while. This started happening out of nowhere a couple of weeks ago..

I currently have a Dell G3 15 3500. I've tried updating the graphics drivers (provided by the dell support website for my laptop model) and basic windows troubleshooting but nothing seems to work. My only hunch to go off of is it being something to do with my graphics drivers from what I've seen in the dump file.

Any help or advice would be appreciated <3 Here's the links to the V2 log collector stuff DESKTOP-42L9KG5-2022-02-17_20-20-09.zip - Google Drive

    Hello Dinuwu,

The crash dump does indicate that the problem is due to the graphics driver.

As you have already tried updating the graphics driver to the latest provided by DELL it might be worth trying the latest version from NVidia.

Most current driver here from nvidia.
Please use DDU first to remove all parts of the old drivers. DDU can be found here.

Thank you for all the responses <3

So it was the gpu drivers after all. I did the reinstall with DDU and with Nvidea's drivers from their website. I'll mark as solved and leave a comment if it can go a day without crashing.

The crashes are still happening, from what I gather the exact same reason. Looks like the DDU and official drivers did not solve this. Maybe it's a hardware problem?

I ran V2 again incase it might help.

    Cancel that post.
It was from an old BSOD.
There was no new dump file.

The crashing has stopped completely now! There was one after I installed the drivers, but now it seems to be gone. Thank you everyone for the suggestions <3
