I appreciate your help zbook, however I don't have the time to run these logs or uninstall eset as the screen crashes back to Welcome. I get mid-way through and it crashes

If its any help, when it does its last black screen, the outlines of the windows open have a faded border around them and they are infilled with black, kind of like its running out of power. Dunno if this is relevant or helps

I took a video of the procedure, not sure if it helps.
Dropbox - screen blink.mp4 - Simplify your life

Anyways, if its better/easier, can I just wipe the drive and reinstall Windows? There isn't anything precious in the Documents folder etc
If so, can someone advise the best way to wipe it?

    Cheers

To install a new operating system:

    1) Find a flash drive that you can format (> or = 8 GB)

    2) Find a working computer

    3) Create a bootable Windows 10 iso 21H2
Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10
    Download Windows 10 ISO File
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10

    4) Perform a clean install (delete all partitions > allow the iso to create all new partitions)
    Clean Install Windows 10

    5) Do not install any drivers or applications (use the Windows default drivers)
Monitor the computer for one day.
If the computer is stable then install drivers from the computer or motherboard manufacturer's website.

Clean installation takes much less time than troubleshooting, as the old saying goes.

    Nice progress.

If you want to stress test the computer for 30 minutes to doublecheck the graphics see these links:

Speccy or HW monitor for temperature monitoring:
Download Speccy | Find your computer specs, free!
    HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID
