    Were there BSOD?
Sorry I'd love to, but time doesnt permit to download and run this file
No BSOD per se, but this was the closest forum that seemed suitable

It takes less than 5 minutes and runs in the background.

Logs can be scanned for errors / problems.

Yes I understand, but I've just timed it and the screen turns on for 4.5 seconds and off for .5 seconds (approx) then back on again, off again. When this happens, the windows etc stay static (they dont close). However after this cycles about 8 times, it freezes up and then next screen blank, it goes back to the welcome screen. This takes around 30-40 seconds at a guess

If you have a numeric keypad, turn on Mouse Keys as shown below:
How to Turn On and Off Mouse Keys in Windows 10

    then, run V2.

If not, I will find a way to browse TenForums using only a keyboard.

The V2 log collector can also run in safe mode: (shift + restart)

Ok, so I tried a number of times to run the V2 software, every time it crashed back to welcome screen as per usual. Every time it would dump a folder with the findings on the desktop (not a zip file).
So after multiple attempts, I did it super speedy and this is the result.
Really not sure if there is anything useful in here but this is the best I can manage ... hopefully it helps!

It looks like some of the folders and log files are missing...

Sorry I'd say you're right, it never 'finished' as such, it would crash back to the welcome screen; once the desktop appeared again, this folder would be there.

Its probably a long shot, but I'm able to boot off the new/OK drive and see the C drive and contents of this faulty drive...would that help?

The logs reported corruption, BSOD, multiple startup repairs, etc.

Please run the DM log collector and post results into this thread.

Please indicate if any of these non-Microsoft software are installed or were recently uninstalled:
    antivirus
    firewall
    drive encryption

OK I've run the DM log collector, I ran it 3x actually, each time it would crash again, so tried to do it quicker each time

    Here are the results
    Dropbox - TFdebugFiles.zip - Simplify your life

It has Eset Antivirus, standard MS firewall, no drive encryption
