There should be no BSOD in a new computer.

The logs displayed that the computer was placed into use on 12/26.

For 17 days of use there have been at least 7 BSOD.

    The BSOD bugchecks were:

    3B
    1E
    9F
    7E

    Consider Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Well, the computer is a refurbished laptop, not sure if that makes a difference. RMA is something I am seriously considering but I have until March 19th to do it. I'll have time for one more desperation move (a pure Windows reinstall, not a factory reset, i.e., no ASUS stuff installed).

What you can see below is that a driver rtkvhd64.sys, connected to a driver object labeled IntcAzAudAddService, is the current location where the IRP was being processed when the system crashed. Presumably, this would mean that the Realtek audio driver caused the crash. I would check ASUS for driver updates or reinstall the drivers.
Thanks for the info! There is not more recent audio driver on ASUS's site so I'll just try reinstalling.

Final update: No BSODs in a while, but the laptop seems to have just forgotten that it has a wifi adapter. Code 45: device not attached, no troubleshooting I could do would fix it, so I'm RMA-ing this POS finally. Thanks for all the advice to everyone who chimed in!
