    BSOD ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY(netio.sys) and IRQL

    I've been receiving both attempted_to_write_readonly_memory (netio.sys) and IRQL_not_less_or_equal (netio.sys) blue screens for some time. It tends to happen at random intervals when playing games or just browsing on the internet. At this point I'm not quite sure what to do. Thank you in advance for helping.

    Hello Volie and welcome to the forums. I need you to do something for me.

    Please go to your last post and in the bottom left corner click 'My System Specs'. there is a link there to update your system specs, click it and fill them all out in as much detail as possible. Please list Manufacturer and Model, and list Desktop or Laptop. If it is an OEM, please list the Manufacturer and Model number. Please be sure to list your PSU and CPU cooler. If you would like to know what we would like, please click 'My System Specs' at the bottom left of this post and see mine.

    I checked your last several dump files and all but 1 was this

    Code:
    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
    BugCheck A, {ffffc001f45fc4e0, 2, 1, fffff8025e455eb5}
    Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MiReadyStandbyPageForActive+165 )
    Followup: MachineOwner

    Please Run Memtest86+

    information   Information
    Please download from this site only http://www.memtest.org/ in the middle of the page are the Download links, you can download the ISO.zip or the Auto USB Flash Drive installer.zip
    Extract the Zip file. If you chose the ISO image, burn it to a CD using Windows Disk Image Burner or any Image burner you may have. If you downloaded the Auto USB installer, extract it, insert your USB 2.0 Flash Drive and take note of the drive letter. Run the installer, select the Flash Drive Letter, check the format box and press next. It will install memtest86+ to a flash drive. You can use either V4.20 or V5.01. Boot from your selected media. If you use V5.01 it will tell you to press certain buttons at the start, please press no buttons. The test will begin on it's own and continue to run until you stop it. It needs to run for 8 complete passes or until you receive an error. If you receive an error, stop the test. Even 1 error is a fail. Each pass tests a different part of the ram and each of the 10 tests in each pass tests something different. It takes a minimum of 8 passes to completely test the ram, more passes are better. It is quite a long test and will take several hours depending on how much ram you have. Due to the time length it is best to run overnight. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask

    Thanks for replying earlier, I've been busy but I did run the memtest86+. I passed it without fail on all tests. I have also tried to update my specs section to the best of my abilities.

    If you have any of the Gigabyte utilities installed, please uninstall them. Also, if you are overclocking anything, please set everything back to defaults. Did you download the test from the link I gave? Also please see if you can find a windows 10 driver for your Intel(R) Gigabit Adapter. Please go to Device Manager and see if you see any yellow icons there or anything indicating there is a problem.

    This is what your dump files are showing

    Code:
    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
    BugCheck BE, {fffff8018f952818, 2277e4121, ffffd000b43253f0, a}
    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for e1i63x64.sys
    *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for e1i63x64.sys
    Probably caused by : memory_corruption
    Followup: memory_corruption
    That is your Intel(R) Gigabit Adapter. But it is actually saying that the Intel(R) Gigabit Adapter failed but because of memory corruption. Yet you passed the memtest86+, so we will try plan 2.

    I do not have any Gigabyte applications currently installed; I am also not currently overclocking. I was not able to find a windows 10 driver for my Intel adapter, but I did check that it is my secondary Ethernet port. I did not find any problems while looking through my device manager.

    Ok, Please right click on the start icon and select Command prompt administrator, give admin permissions and copy/paste this into the window that opens and press enter sfc /scannow . If you decide to type it in, please notice the space between the sfc and the /. We want it to say no integrity violations were found. If it says there where corrupt files that could not be repaired, please reboot and run it again. You may have to run it 3 times with reboots in between each time.

    Also, please check and make sure your Windows Updates are current. The NETIO error you were getting is the Windows Network manager and now you are getting the Intel Gigabit Network Adaptor. It would seem that whatever problem you are having is network related. But, still you are getting mostly memory corruption errors. So, at this point we may have to wait and see what any future dump files say. If you have had a BSOD since you uploaded the last DM log, please upload another.

    Maybe I misunderstood you, but is this your Motherboard? http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=4642#sp

    The specs say you have only 1 Lan Connection and it is a Realtek not an Intel Lan.

    Yes, you are correct that is my mother board. I also have an extra Intel LAN port that is not used.

    Then you have an add on Lan card for the Intel port?
