Hi there folks,
I am facing a BSOD (although is it a BSOD? screen & audio freezes and only thing i can do is restart the computer, i have set it to restart automatically but there is no blue screen, it just restarts) while playing DayZ + simultaneously hosting DayZ server for myself.
I've already run memtest for like 10 hours at it passed 6 times so that won't be it. V2 Log collector output is in attachments.

By chance, did you go into the BIOS and attempt to set the memory speeds manually to what the specs are from the memory manufacturer? I have built a few AMD machines in my day, my most recent one being a server box, and I had all kinds of system stability issues when I tried to set the memory specs in the BIOS to what was in the tech specs for the memory modules. As soon as I just told it to set it automatically, even though it wasn't up to the speeds advertised, and it was far more stable. If you did the same, I'd start there. You could also backup the BIOS and then reset it to confirm it isn't a BIOS->Hardware issue.
I also noticed in your system information that you have DMA turned off. Not sure if that was intentional or not.
Have you checked all categories of the Event Logs to confirm there are no indications of the crash or leading up to the crash (not talking about the notice that the machine rebooted without clearly shutting down first)? You may want to pull up an app like HWMonitor and watch temps as you play. If it's an abrupt reboot, it might be the video card or CPU are overheating. HWMonitor would show the temps and any "hotspots" it detects with the various hardware components.

I am using an automatic OC via BIOS, so no manual change there.
Regarding DMA, I needed to google what that was, so if it should be by default on, I may have disabled it by accident.
My CPU temps are quite high while playing (~84 deg. C in DayZ), but acceptable considering that I have yet to switch the box cooler for a new, AM4 compatible one.
I was beginning to suspect that temps are the problem, but two days back I installed new chipset driver and couple of other drivers, also reset BIOS and so far (knock knock) there was not a single crash during my relatively long RDR2 sessions - those used to happen randomly during playing. I will, however, try DayZ once more, as it is more recent.
There was another crash, now while paused in RDR2 so I haven't really noticed until I've tried to resume the game, force-quit. Had to shut down the PC by holding the power button.
I've checked the settings of "start up and recovery" and "automatically restart" was ticked - yet the system did not restart after freezing. Why? There are two errors in event viewer, chronologically EventLog 6008 and then volmgr 161.

I've switched on the DMA and within that also memory integrity, will try to run RDR2 some more and see if any error pops up. Temps on CPU are alright, since I've already installed a new cooler and I assume that VGA with 3 fans would not overheat, but will keep an eye out on that one.

Well, I didn't need to run RDR2 as my PC froze today during regular home office work. I was listening to music, then it stopped with a static "blob" and silence together with no response to input followed. Had to reset pc using power button.
I noticed that one SATA cable was turned sideways in the slot and fixed it, but I doubt that could have been the issue, because Windows is running on NVMe that sits on MB. There was no volmgr 161 in the event viewer this time, but I could not find any dump files. Nor memory.dmp, nor anything in Minidump folder.
EventLog 6008 leading to kernel power 41.
I will try to disable that BIOS automatic OC to see whether that will resolve the issue, but having unstable system even while almost idle makes the case ever so slightly more serious. I'll pray so that the bsod masters on this forum come as soon as possible.

One more update before I leave the topic for now - OC tuning was set to normal, so I've bumped it again to the ASUS Optimal whatever. I've also switched off memory integrity.

Problem solved? I plugged my PC into different wall socket + additionally disabled fast boot in Windows and set power plan to balanced and the PC has run RDR2 for 5 hours straight with no freeze.
Haha well here i go again. Kernel-power 41 bugcheck 0. Any ideas? PC froze after about 45 minutes of playing.
