You got it. Now play some games.
OK I played the witcher 2. Not the new one but the second one. It was the same game I had gotten the IRQL_. So i used the same game to test. And I played for 25min
Results: CPU Highest temp was 35c
GPU= Highest temp was 62c
that's not bad at all. Nice job. Next we'll run memtest86+.
Please Run Memtest86+
InformationPlease download from this site only http://www.memtest.org/ in the middle of the page are the Download links, you can download the ISO.zip or the Auto USB Flash Drive installer.zipExtract the Zip file. If you chose the ISO image, burn it to a CD using Windows Disk Image Burner or any Image burner you may have. If you downloaded the Auto USB installer, extract it, insert your USB 2.0 Flash Drive and take note of the drive letter. Run the installer, select the Flash Drive Letter, check the format box and press next. It will install memtest86+ to a flash drive. You can use either V4.20 or V5.01. Boot from your selected media. If you use V5.01 it will tell you to press certain buttons at the start, please press no buttons. The test will begin on it's own and continue to run until you stop it. It needs to run for 8 complete passes or until you receive an error. If you receive an error, stop the test. Even 1 error is a fail. Each pass tests a different part of the ram and each of the 10 tests in each pass tests something different. It takes a minimum of 8 passes in the same session to completely test the ram, more passes are better. It is quite a long test and will take several hours depending on how much ram you have. Due to the time length it is best to run overnight. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
it's a pretty long test. With 8 GB of ram it takes about 10 hours, with 16 GB it takes 20 hours. so, you can figure out about how many hours for your ram. I usually run it, at night and just let it run all night. If you see an error, stop the test. Even 1 error is a fail. It won't hurt to keep running it, but there is no reason to.
ok thank you so much. I am going to bed soon. I will set up that mem test prog and set it to run before I crash. I will report back tomorrow. And again I greatly appreciate you taking the time to help with my issue. And I will definitely report back tomorrow.
Ok I'm back. You were not kidding about time frame. As of now it is at 18 hours, 6 passes, 0 errors.

Yea it finally got done about an hour ago. 8 complete passes took 22 hours with 12 gig ram and 0 errors. I got to thinking earlier, could an underpowered or defective PSU cause that irql_ error? Because if i remember correctly when I got the PSU 3 years ago I believe its somewhere around 400w.
I wrote down all the voltages of all i could find in bios.( I pulled these strait from bios)
vcore=1.361
Vldt=1.361
5von=5.086
Vdimm=1.560
5vsys=5.032
12v=12.051
Nb-core volt=1.30
Nb-pcie volt=1.10
I could find no mention of 3.3 voltages
Now speccy reports different voltages (Just out of curiosity I checked speccy after I checked bios)
Voltage
+3.3V = 3.312 V
CPU CORE = 0.840 V
VIN2 = 2.528 V
VIN3 =1.376 V
+5V =4.961 V
+12V =10.296 V
VIN6 =2.208 V
VSB3V = 3.328 V
CMOS BATTERY= 3.280 V
You would know better than me if speccy is accurate but those numbers look bad lol.
