It will help I think if I know more detail of in what game etc this crash occurs, and as I mentioned if it occurs in lower demands
Hi. I has also crashed when during a teams video meeting, playing fall guys. Not just playing GTA.

The temps looks good, been looking at OpenHardwareMonitor while gaming and such. CPU and GPU holds low temps. I think the cooling works well.

For the memory I have run MemTest86 several times, all pass.

Anyway, I have decided to replace the motherboard with a "MPG Z590 GAMING FORCE", I am not that happy with my motherboard anyway. I does not support USB-C, so I have a useless usb-c connection on my case. And yes the Z490 that I have now does support 11gen processors with a bios update, but for a 11th gen Intel CPU, it seems like Z590 is more fitting.

Thanks for the tip. I have formatted the computer twice. I installed everything from scratch when I first got the computer, and then I removed everything again a few days ago and only had steam installed. Not veracrypt, global protect or anything else. I also disconnected my three hard drives so I only had the m2 ssd running. Still crashed like before.

    Then I tried different drivers,

    Code:
      471.11-desktop-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql (from https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N306TGAMING-OC-8GD-rev-20/support#support-dl-driver, clean install)
466.77-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql (DDU complete removal off previous auto installed version by windows)
      472.12-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql (clean install)
      496.13-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql (clean install)
Still did not help.. I am going insane with this, hopefully the new motherboard will do the trick.

Please do let us know how you go on.

There is more that can be tried - even to the point of extending the timeout for the graphics driver by a registry key, but bearing in mind the original problems of the DP cable and the problems with the new card one may start to suspect a problem with the slot for the card
OR perhaps still on the line of a ram issue
Many people have had many problems with ram and settings issue on those Z490 boards

I have good news, I replaced the motherboard with a MSI MPG Z590 GAMING FORCE, and so far, no crashes. After weeks of my computer crashing everyday I almost can't believe it. Been gaming for for hours and no crash. Looks like it works now.

We will see, I have sent it back to the webshop where I bought it, done that many times and always got my money back. I think by law you get your money back if you send it back within 50 days in my country. So I am not too worried about that.

Thank you for all the help!

Final question and then I can perhaps close this thread.

My computer has still not crashed, but checked the reliability history and found that this error did in fact happen today:

    I really feel for you
    as you know
    116
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...eo-tdr-failure
is the timeout error on the graphics

and 190 which I must admit I had not seen before is
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...ilure-livedump

appears to be in your case
REGION_VALIDATION_FAILURE - Region is out of surface bounds.

I am not proficient enough in reading the dump files to establish the cause of this NEW problem with the new board, with that error for the 190.
In fact I do not even know to what it refers.

While you wait for someone to reply who is an expert at analysing the dumps I would recommend a chkdsk /r on your drives
