Internal power issue - black screen, no keyboard or mouse input

    Hey guys,

I bought a new computer, ryzen 1700, gtx 1070, x370 crosshair and 3200mhz ram gskill but more often than not after putting the computer to sleep or after shutting it down I will go through a bit of a boot looping issue.

Twice I would get monitor input and I saw that I had a BSOD saying internal power issue but more often than not I get no monitor input and my keyboard and mouse won't turn on (no lights). After a bunch of resets (holding power button) sometimes my PC will start up normally but most of the time I have to turn off the PSU unplug the cable, hold the power button, turn on psu, plug in, restart.

so far I have done the following steps.

    Updated AMD chipset + bios
    fresh windows 10 install

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    5) sfc /scannow
    6) chkdsk /scan
    7) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
    8) wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 7
    9) bcdedit /enum {badmemory}

    10) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    11) Make sure that there is no over clocking while troubleshooting.

    12) The BIOS: Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 1401, 11/9/2016
Upgrade the BIOS to the most up to date non-beta BIOS: 1401 > 1802
X99-DELUXE II Driver & Tools | Motherboards | ASUS USA

    13) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings

    a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > post an image of the startup and recovery window into the thread

    b) > on the advanced tab under performance > click on settings > on the performance options window > click on the advanced tab > under virtual memory > click on change > post an image of the virtual memory window into the thread

    14) Run HD Tune (free version) (all drives)
    HD Tune website
Post images into the thread for results on these tabs:
    a) Health
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan

    15) Run Sea Tools for Windows
    long generic test
Post an image of the test result into the thread
    SeaTools for Windows |
    Seagate
How to use SeaTools for Windows | Seagate Support US

    16) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y
    reboot

    17) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer. Copy and paste into notepad > save to desktop > post into the thread using one drive or drop box share link:
Read Chkdsk Log in Event Viewer in Windows 10 Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials
Read Chkdsk Log in Event Viewer in Windows 10.

    Here are my results

I tried to update my MX500 ssd but neither the software worked nor the USB uefi option even though it went through the install process then said completed, shutdown my PC went through 8 boot attempts got in, check version and it was still the one from before.

If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
also in game my fps is terrible, CSGO barely hits 140fps when it is normal to see around 400 with a setup like this.

You said newly bought so you'll definitely want to check why they sold you a bad windows license

video driver is out of date. download here Download NVIDIA, GeForce, Quadro, and Tesla Driversdownloads for your motherboard can be found at ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO | ROG Crosshair | Gaming Motherboards|ROG - Republic of Gamers|ROG Global
--- your chipset drivers are out of date. The ones on the above link for your motherboard are also out of date. DO NOT USE them. Use the ones from amd located at https://www.amd.com/en/support
-------- Direct link to yours from AMD is https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/amd_....09.01.140.zip

Your ram does not appear to be running at 3200 or they sold you slower memory and overclocked it, as seen from ram.txt:
    ocation : DIMM_A2
    BankLabel : BANK 1
    Manufacturer : G Skill Intl
    MemoryType : DDR4
    FormFactor : DIMM
    Capacity : 8GB
    Speed : 2133

Your blue screens were pretty generic (not your fault), but one did call out memory management.

Depending on how new this system is, you may wish to speak with the place of purchase about repair or replacement. Honestly with the windows license they sold, i would be immediately asking for a full refund.

How come Windows 10 home version 1607 was installed instead of 21H1?

Was the drive supposed to be new?

I bought this PC off trademe (NZ ebay) and it came without windows genuine so I installed it off a usb. As for the ram I run it default atm since booting in alone is a pain without OC at this point though I have OCed a few times to 3.8ghz and 3200mhz for the ram.

i'll update the drivers, thank you for this!

Updated chipset and video drivers but I still get stuck with a black screen during start up which requires a few restarts before I enter the os :/

No this is a second hand PC, unfortunatley due to lockdown its all that I could get my hands on. I tried the chipset update + driver update but still I get stuck with no monitor input / having to restart multiple times before I get into the OS... any ideas for what I could check / do?

The computer has CRC drive problems.

BSOD after a clean install is malfunctioning hardware (until proven otherwise).

If you can return the PC: Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Unfortunately I didn't buy it from a retailer. It could be possible to return abiet a bit of a hasstle with level 4... but you said CRC drive problems, does imply that a new SSD could fix the issue? The price for the PC was pretty good so if its not a hardware issue to do with CPU / GPU / mobo then with prices in NZ for PCs I would honestly be better off fixing something like ram / ssd.

    The PC itself was $840usd.

If you install a properly license and activated Windows 10, then post a new V2, then troubleshooting help can be provided.
