Blue Screen of Death
Hi
STEPS COMPLETED FROM BELOW
Graphics driver has been updated.
12 RAM (4 & 8) is standard on this computer. - https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05573956
OS - Waiting on response to the below replies. I have an idea I know what is being referred to but ant to make sure before proceeding.
UPDATE: the second I posted the message below my system crashed again.
‐---------------------------
Update 2: not sure if this is the issue but I've noticed this last time when I booted up again I did not start Firefox or Thunderbird my mail program and I just went in to start playing a game that I can play and I haven't any crashes issue is it possible Firefox or Thunderbird is the culprit and would just merely uninstalling them and then reinstalling them possibly fix this if they are the culprit I do know that a lot of times when I've crashed Firefox is always running in the background like I have issues a lot when I'm watching YouTube videos and I noticed a lot of times it does crash during that point so I don't know if it's Firefox or video driver but I'm just wondering is that a possible issue they could be causing this and would merely reinstalling them fix it possibly thoughts
Also I have checked on the video drivers and windows when it does a search says the drivers are the most up-to-date so not sure I can't I can't update the drivers so

I have been getting now for maybe 6-7 months a Blue Screen of Death quite frequently. Hard part is ever time it seems to have a number of different stop codes so hard to pin it down to any one issue.
I was thinking of redoing the system via system restore but last time I tried this I would get all the way down then during the first boot up following the restore it would give me a BSOD and then revert the whole system back to where it was prior to the restore.
Is there any way to get the restore to finish hopefully fixing this issue or what can I do to get rid of these BSOD as so far nothing seems to work including scans and such. In fact I scanned the system this morning restoring potentially damaged windows files and the second I got back into normal mode I had not even booted up fully when it crashed again..
At this point am at a loss as to how to fix this.
Keep in mind any responses make sure they are simple as sometimes too technical isn't easy to understand
