    BSOD Help Needed

    Hi All,

Started having BSOD a few months ago. Description always "Kmode exception not handled".

I have run full Memtest program 3 different times. No errors. Installed new SSD and clean version of Windows 10. No apps added beyond Win 10 installation.

System works fine in Safe Mode with Networking. Completely stable. But regular windows BSOD very frequently.

    Windows 10 Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1165)

Here is Google Drive Link with the minidump files:

Are you sure you have run Log Collector correctly? I can't see any logs

    Yay, it worked!

Video card driver needs updated, its from 2020.
BIOS needs updated (motherboard), its from 2011
Chipset drivers have something going on, from pnp-devices.txt:
PCI Simple Communications Controller Error 28 Drivers for this device are not installed.
If none of those resolve it, you'll want to test the memory with memtest.

Your blue screens could be apps trying to call the same memory space at the same time (not supposed to). It could also be the ram itself.

    Thanks for info

    Thanks Tom dsr,

I have run memtest several times with no errors. I know instructions her say minimum 8 passes but free version only allows 4. Is the extra 4 passes important enough to buy memtest?

I will update video driver. I did this when I first installed clean win 10 but got BSOD so uninstalled. Will try again.

ASRock has only one bios update for this MB. Ver 2.2 dated 6/20/12. Description of changes does not seem to deal with issue-
    1. Add Dehumidifier Function.
    2. Modify for Windows8 shut down behavior.

Never tried to do anything with chipset drivers. Will need to look into this.

Weird the computer ran fine for all this time. The BSOD started after a WIn 10 update a few months ago.
