Hi everyone,
SO i was going to go and reinstall windows.
I made sure backups are all good etc.
Went to try a "fix windows but keep files" and got a "You drive is locked, cant repair" error.
So I googled it and it suggested running chkdsk c: /R and then letting that run on startup.
I tried that and it tried 3 times nad BSOD each time within about 15 seconds of starting the check.
Now... does this mean I'm looking at a dead/dying HDD (SSD) or does it mean corrupted windows and it needs /F not /R.
Upon cancellation of the chkdsk starting up the comp is booting fine but I'm still BSOD'ing about once a day.
so... new SSD or any other ideas?
Scan the HDD/SSD for problems before reinstalling Windows.

SO:
I tried reinstalling windwos.
Windows crashed (BSOD, no dump file) every time i got into windows and opened anything - My PC, Browser, anything.
So i went and got a new SSD.
Installed windows.
Same bsods when i got it running on windows.
Went and bought new MOBO.
Used new SSD.
Havent had a bsod in 3 days so far...
