MSI GT80 Brand New, Critical Kernel-power Error 41 task 63

    Attachment 33088

Please help. I have tried all the previously mentioned fixes such as activating/deactivating suspect speakers, deleting Norton, checking on PSU, etc.

Any help would be appreciated. I uploaded the necessary file as per the forum's posting rules.

    Hi Aristotilean,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

The cause of the crash is a driver from Nvidia.
Please try disabling the Nvidia Streaming Kernel Service in msconfig.
To disable this service in msconfig, press windows logo + r, type msconfig and press enter, go to the tab services, search for Nvidia Streaming Kernel Service and uncheck it, reboot if asked.

Please report back in a few days if this helped you or if you have any new bluescreen.

    So far so good
    Thank you
I will report back in a few days, but this is the first time my laptop hasn't randomly restarted

    Edit:
Crash just happened, same error Attachment 34157
Computer is really buggy/glitchy with slow response, etc. I will restart. Here is an updated log.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

This is a brand new laptop, and a costly one. Its depressing that this is happening to it.

    Hello sir,
Disabling streaming kernel worked for a while, but the thing happened again today. I noticed it usually happens around time when I start using the laptop after having it idle for a while. Your input would be appreciated. I updated the log in my last post. Many thanks.

Do you have windows updates updating your drivers enabled?
If so, try disabling this, tutorial for how to do so can be found in my sign.

The cause is the same, your Nvidia Video driver
