    BSOD triggered by entering hibernation

Windows 10 Home Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.1052)

Hi all, I'd really appreciate some help from the collective expertise on the forum.

I have recently cloned my HDD using Macrium Reflect on to a Samsung 870 EVO SSD (1TB) and have removed the HDD to leave just the SSD present. Having had no problems with hibernation previously, now whenever hibernation is started (whether after the preset time or immediately by pressing the on/off button - according to the selected options in Control Panel) it triggers a BSOD, with error message "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" (no numerical stop code).

I have tried uninstalling Avast Antivirus Free (using Avast Clear) and Malwarebytes Free (using MB Clean) and have tried disabling all non-Microsoft drivers and start-up programs but the problem remains. Disabling hibernation and changing the effect of pressing the on/off button to "sleep" results in no BSOD.

As I say, the only change I made from when hibernation worked perfectly to when entering it always results in a BSOD is the replacement of the HDD with the SSD.

I have scoured the web but have not come across this exact problem elsewhere, hence my post.

I have run the V2 Log collector and the zip file is uploaded.

Many thanks in advance for the advice

    Nick
