    Since the system won't boot you're left with two choices. Do a parallel install which places all your existing files and folders in Windows.old or bit the bullet, and do a Clean Install which wipes everything. If you do this you should backup any data you don't want to lose if you haven't already done so.

    Use this method when you want to do a Clean Install but not lose all your data. The old installation, including all your data, will be moved into C:\Windows.old where is it easily accessible after the installation is completed.
