DPC_Watchdog_Violation BSOD occurring for first boot of the day.

    Good Evening All,

I am having a weird issue with my PC BSOD'ing at the Windows login screen only once per day -- when I first power on my PC. It doesn't seem to occur on reboots or subsequent cold boots, just once per 24 hours.

The PC is new, and I have rebuilt Windows a number of times. Not exactly sure what software or driver could be causing this? Its really starting to drive me nuts!

I've tried a few things... sfc, memcheck, updated SSD firmware, updated MB bios, running the latest windows updates and gfx drivers.

    I have Windows 21H1, build 19043.1055

Please help! Its driving me mad! I have uploaded my minidump from it occuring. I would appreciate any help that can be provided! Thank you !

Edit: Forgot to mention event viewer seems to show this message after the crash: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000501, 0x0000000000000500, 0xfffff8052befb320). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\Minidump\061521-7203-01.dmp. Report Id: b283e4b7-aa3c-4a22-970d-f6334646d11a.

Bad contact of memory or bad sectors hdd would cause this BSOD in my experience.

Please you reseat only one memory firstly and use memtest86 9.1 test them one by one and then use hddscan 4.1 check all hard drives.

memtest86 official page is as following.

    MemTest86

HDDScan official page is as following.

    HDDScan

    Note:

Please you prepare a blank USB flash disk and then follow the instructions of memtest86 official page to make a memtest86 9.1 testing USB flash disk.

    Hi shiwan0804,

By this do you think the memory may be not fully in the slot? slightly loose?

Here is some more background on my PC memory

My PC was prebuilt with 2 x 16GB of 3200 DDR4 memory (Kingston HyperX). At the time of purchase also got another 2 x 16GB Kingston HyperX kit, when I got home and installed the memory, I noticed the RAM had a slightly different part number, however was still 3200 DDR4.

I have conducted the MemTest86 for around 3 hours and received no errors, during that time I actually went to the store and purchased another 2x16GB set so that all four DIMMs would match (ie, exact same part number).

When I returned home, Memtest86 had completed 3/4 passes with no errors. I ended the test and have installed the memory, now all four should match, and made sure they were in the slots securely. Not sure if this makes any difference?

The other cuase of BSOD might be bad contact of display card which I encountered.

Please you use soft eraser to clean connecting finger of display card and then use small and soft brush to clean eraser shavings.

After cleaning up, please you reseat display card and tried again.

    Hi shiwan0804,

I have tried all these options you suggest, but still seem to have the issue. Just crashed again about 5 minutes ago.

I forgot to ask you that what max watt of your current power supply and plugged 2 x 8-pin PCI-express power cable in RTX3080 display card?

Display card manufacturer recommended 850W power supply for RTX 3080.

If you had enough watt power supply and then I guessed your current display card had some issues.

I suggested that please you sent the display card for repair.
