BSOD - Driver overran stack buffer

Received this BSOD while i was streaming and alt tabbed back into my game. All windows updates to latest already installed. This is a pretty fresh install too only 2 weeks old. New storage as well. Did memtest already and it found no issues

Was the crash related to that? Should i get their beta or non beta BIOS?

EDIT: I've updated to the latest non beta BIOS so i guess we will see what happens tomorrow when i go again...

EDIT. It also just hard locked after rebooting and opening up a couple of web pages...

PC crashed again, this time it went as a black screen(s) while i was streaming and playing Dark souls 3. it also had a bit of... colour left on them like as if the GPU crashed, before i had to reset it. I honestly have no idea whats going on at this point. I have already done a DDU and latest nvidia driver install.

    Hi, MajorFoley.

I encountered the same BSOD, too

If your NVIDIA display card driver was 466.63, it was the cause of BSOD.

I saw NVIDIA community and many men met the same situation inclusive of me.

Please you could downgrade NVIDIA driver to 466.47 or under and tried again.

This was happening on 466.47 at the time, right now im on my older GPU because i have a feeling the non BSOD i was having before where the colours are getting all messed up and locking my PC are a GPU hardware failure. As for the BSOD driver overran stack buffer havent seen it four a couple of days yet but too early to tell.
