    Bsod: Irql_not_less_or_equal

I was running a tune up on my HP Desktop with HP Support Assistant, and all of a sudden it crashed (blue screened). The error message said "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". I have attached the dump file for someone to check out.

    Thank you, Jesse Williams

    Hello Jesse,

there is a clear indication that the mfefirek.sys driver from McAfee was the cause of the crash.

This is the stack at the time of the crash:

Please remove McAfee and follow the instructions on the McAfee site for complete removal.

If you really want to use McAfee then see if there is an update but generally Microsoft Defender will be more than sufficient.
