MEMORY_MANAGEMENT & SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION Blue Screens
Hey, all.
So, recently I've been having MEMORY_MANAGEMENT & SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION Blue Screens on my PC. I think they are caused by my RAM. Some background:
A couple months ago, one of my RAM sticks died (not sure why). It died after I rearranged one of my case fans to fix high CPU temps (100C on full load). The PC kept restarting indefinitely with the fried RAM inserted. This dropped my RAM count from 8GB to 4GB. I asked a friend if he could lend me some RAM. He had 2*8GB DDR3 1333MHz Corsair RAM (CMV16GX3M2A1333C9) & he gave me both sticks. One of them worked, while the other one was fried (PC kept restarting indefinitely with the fried stick inserted). The working stick is the only stick of RAM currently in my PC. Everything was fine, until recently. I've encountered 3 BSODs in the last few days - 2 MEMORY_MANAGEMENT & 1 SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (the most recent one) BSOD. The MEMORY_MANAGEMENT Blue Screens happened within 4 minutes of each other, whereas the SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD happened an hour ago as I'm writing this. 2/3 of the BSODs happened while I was using Chrome (1st MEMORY_MANAGEMENT & SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION Blue Screens), while the 2nd MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD happened while the system was idle. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostics a couple days ago & it reported that no errors were found. However, I ran MemTest64 afterwards & it reported errors with my RAM. I've run CHKDSK on both my internal drives & no errors were found. I've also run SFC /SCANNOW & DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH & both commands finished with no errors.
NOTE: Older MiniDumps & the MANUALLY_INITIATED_CRASH BSOD (was messing around with the Ctrl + Scroll Lock manual crash feature) can be ignored.
