The errors are normal and expectable because Windows Update Medic Service has been disabled.

If Windows Update Medic Service has not been disabled, Windows will also write logs onto your drive, but the logs will be shown as information instead of errors. You cannot possibly stop Windows writing logs, whether they are information or errors.

I started Windows at 12:13 PM. At this moment, it is 2:30 PM.
I have the following 7 errors concerning Windows Update Medic Service.

Loading a single webpage certainly writes much more data than creating all the above error logs.
I don't know how many pages I have visited since I started Windows at 12:13 PM.

I have downloaded the first page of this thread. The total size is 4.24 MB, probably larger than the total size of thousands of error logs.
I use another drive as my firefox user folder as not to have firefox writing to my m.2 drive.

Yes you can I am doing it now. I am not trying to say anything bad about your script, I think it is great tool, however I do not like the huge writes to my m.2 drive.I just pause updates for 3 weeks then check the microsoft catalog, then research the updates, as everyone knows MS has not been doing so good with their updates, breaking system, causing other errors etc. I meant no disrespect.

When the post was created the log files were dated 5/8 - 5/9 and had KMS.
The current log files are dated 5/16 and no longer display KMS.

And you have this log file? I would like to see it and see what was used to activate with KMS because I have never installed or used that program, ever.

zbook I am NOT saying you are wrong, I would not be so bold, as to do so but I examined the log that was attached to the opening post on this thread and unless I have missed it I never saw KMS indicated in the log -
    I have attached that log

I do also have the logs from the 9 May and the 12 May - I cannot see any reference to KMS but, if it is there on the logs, I must accept I have missed it.

Please tell me where it is

    @Macboatmaster ,

Just sent to you a PM.

The KMS was present at the opening of the thread.

If you don't know what to look for you will miss it.

Please do not post it into this or any thread or PM.

    Another OP denied using KMS.
They were given an opportunity to fix.
Instead they modified the collected files before posting them.

Again you may not find them unless you search for them.

    PLEASE accept my apologies
    I never saw it
    I checked the OS genuine
    I checked the installed software
    and many other aspects

    I salute you
I now realise having looked at the logs that additionally to what you found I now also see in respect of Office installed that the logs refer to a

The rules engine reported a failed VL activation attempt.
    AppId = 0ff1ce15
I have NOT included other identifying details.
I am not sure what you mean in respect of this
Please do not post it into this or any thread or PM
but I certainly would not be sending any PM to anyone.

I feel quite embarrassed that I missed it - my congrats to you.

For what? I have pro digital licence key win10 and my Office 2019 if legit as well, license key. What other apps can it be used for? I do not have KMS running on my system.
SO one user was concerned about wisecare 365 YET didn't say anything of KMS on my system? Maybe because I don't have/use? I find that hard to believe?
I was the person who raised the use of WiseCare but only in respect of it being my opinion, that I do not see many of these such apps as sitting well with windows 10.
I did not see the KMS - Key Management Services entry or the VL activation attempt for Office -
Whether or not either entry reflects the use of unlicensed software - I am not so sure.
What is certain is that my colleague zbook found something I missed

WHY would I use KMS knowing I have licensed software? When i wrote this is log file this is exact software that was installed. I did not have KMS installed then and I don't have KMS installed now nor have I ever used KMS as I know it can contain malware or other back doors.

Doesn't matter anyways from last who insulted me saying I had cheap hard ware to now this person accusing me of running pirated software, I will never post again here, ask for help, tenforums use to be good, now so many rude people.

One other thing, please delete that log file and please don't post it again, I feel it is security risk, thanks.

I thought you and I worked well together and I certainly never said you had cheap hardware, in the manner you now appear to suggest.
The only comment I made regarding the hardware, was when some else mentioned the PSU and I then recommended a
better quality PSU when you confirmed yours was indeed a cheap Generic brand.
    Post 4 refers
The PSU in your spec is
    PSU: Genric 750 watt
If that is meant to represent something such as this but the 750 watt
    Please Wait... | Cloudflare
I MISSED that aspect of your specs and whether OR NOT it is the cause of the problem if you are using such a cheapo PSU my most strong recommendation is to replace it with a quality product as demanded by the rest of the system specs.
It seemed to be the right decision because you then posted
Well I got my PSU today and installed it, when switching on system I noticed HUGE difference, namely my case fans (8) were all running much harder/faster, I really do think it might of been my PSU not delivering enough power when gaming, so I am happy with that.
I am upset, after working with you, that you now for some reason appear to include me in your
    now so many rude people.
    comment.

NO NO NO I said another poster had made insulting comments to my specs of my computer saying I was using cheap hard ware. I made a report to admins and they deleted the comments and reset my thread then afterwards you posted, I even took your advise and bought another PSU and after what you wrote about one I bought I canceled that one and got one you recommenced, I am sorry I came off that way.

I said you helped me a lot, gave shout out to you and jmatt and gave you both rep. PLEASE do not think this way.

I am still trying to find where that person saw KMS installed on my system OR even prove/show me where, as I cannot find any reference to it in my log I posted when I made this thread. As I said before I am a completions and must find this and yet I have not seen any reference to KMS on my system and this is what is really upsetting me that someone accuse me of using pirated software.

I still stand firm that I will not post in these forums again, not because of you or jmatt, you two helped me a lot. I unsubscribed to this thread and had logged out, I was checking to see if you deleted that log file for me when I saw your comment and had to log back in to tell you this.
