    [QUOTE=jmatt;2220247]Stubborn problem, try this.
I agree I think I am going to do fresh install of windows as I mentioned in previous post as this is not going to work and no sense you trying to fix this. Thanks again for your help and time.

I will send you private message after I have new PSU installed and fresh win10.

You may need this, look forward to the PM.

Run AutoRuns, go through the tabs & look for negative comments, such as not found, or something you do not know anything about. Use google to investigate.

    "fresh win10"
If that means a clean install ( you lose everything )

Boot from the ISO & during the install, keep hitting Delete, until Delete & Format are greyed out & you are left with Unallocated.
No other drives should be connected during the install.

I will try that too. I would like to ask about my aggressive tweaks I do if they could be causing problems, which I do think they are. I use Windows10Debloater-master with a black list to remove stuff.
I have uploaded to my dropbox if you could take a look.
    Dropbox - custom-lists.ps1 - Simplify your life

I also use a set of reg files to disable / tweak win10 the set of tools is called System Prerequisites that I got years ago and I don't remember site of the person who made them.

I was just wondering if these things break win10?

This autorun I have used in the past and I think I have old copy on an old back dvd. I am very strict what auto starts running in background etc. Thing is with my problem is I can't get memory dumps to the culprit.

Yes I have an old laptop HDD and a usb to sata cable I use for installing from, plus I use it for my backups as after I'm done I remove so if I get infected my backs are safe.

I also learned hard way about only have my boot disk connected, as this is always been a problem with windows as far back as XP. LOL

"I was just wondering if these things break win10?"
I stopped using that type of program, many years ago. When a problem arises , it is very, very hard to track down.
I have been using the Wise tools for 10 maybe 15 years.

Run both of these, in this order.
1: Wise Disk Cleaner ( Run the 1st three tabs, left to right. I use default settings, leave boxes that are unchecked, unchecked )
Download Wise Disk Cleaner 10.4.3 Build 792

2: Wise Registry Cleaner ( Only use Registry Cleaner & with default settings. Don't use System Tuneup, that is for Experts, you really have to know what you are doing )
Download Wise Registry Cleaner 10.3.4 Build 693

Dude wisecare 365 is same program as all of these, one you told me was program not to use, or maybe it was other poster? You have separate programs where 365 is all in one, I had these too and when they came out with the 365 I bought it, been using it for years since I had Winxp. it is best tool for reg cleaning without breaking system over CC cleaner I never use that program.

What I meant about breaking win10 is my tweaks I use.

"What I meant about breaking win10 is my tweaks I use"
I'm saying I don't use tweak programs anymore, because they can cause problems.
It's impossible to know if what you have done, can cause problems. Google each tweak, if you really are concerned.

IMHO and based on years of experience
Wise Cleaner and everything else that has control of your system and especially those that purport to clean the registry
have no place on windows 10
It is NOT Wise Cleaner per se, it is any such software
Kaspersky good as it is as an AV has a history of causing problems on 10

Windows Security Centre with all its checks and capabilities - including Defender is the ideal protection for 10.
It is a very different situation from the old Defender on 7 which was spyware/adware only and even from the Defender AV on 8.1

I will leave the topic, as there is no point in tow of us trying to help, it will simply be more confusing for you.

I suggested uninstalling Kaspersky to see if that was too blame back on post 16.

    Good luck with it.
