I have the most updated BIOS and my Nvme is Samsung PM981 MZVLB1T0HALR which is OEM and I can't find a firmware update from Samsung or from Corsair. I think I will need to open a ticket with Corsair.

I do suspect the Nvme but being caused by software like a previous issue that caused Intel SSDs to lock up and stop working under Windows 1803. These would generate blue screens on assets at work which had those SSDs and the issue disappeared once Microsoft released this fix: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...2-9684ab8cb2c6

In summary: Addresses an issue that may have caused select devices with Intel SSD 600p Series or Intel SSD Pro 6000p Series to stop working or repeatedly enter a UEFI screen after restart.

Thanks again for your help Philc43, much appreciated.

Btw, love Cambridgeshire. Was fortunate to visit Cambridge and stayed at Churchill College and see around while I was there for the Duxford airshow. Very lovely!

    Hi Philc,

I ended up replacing my NVME and the problem is gone. I've been stable without any bsod's for now a week.

When I tried to install Windows from a USB using my NVME, the install would eventually cancel with this error: 0x800701B1 which means "A device which does not exist was specified". So this pretty much confirmed the issue was that the NVME would stop responding.

    Thanks again for your help!
