    DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE Again after a month

Hello! I have previously posted about this same issue in an earlier thread a month ago about the very same BSOD. As a result, I have followed the exact same steps as mentioned in the last thread again beforehand. My Windows 10 Build is 20H2 as usual and the device is a Dell G3 as mentioned in the specs below. I have done a clean install of the Nvidia driver to the latest version using DDU, ran the V2 Log collector and Tuneup.bat along with the command to get the License.txt files after clean boots. All the mentioned files are present in this Google Drive Folder below for reference. Looking forward to getting a valuable response!

    Hello,

As you rightly say it is the same BSOD as you had before and the same remedy should apply. The Procedure you have followed should do the trick but if it doesn't I would recommend redoing the DDU procedure and then installing the driver using the NVCleanstall utility to make sure you only add the driver & PhysX and none of the other software like the Stereo glasses, USB-C etc.

Thank you for the response! One other thing of note that was common before each of these instances was my use of GeForce experience to update the driver to 461.92 and 466.11 and I'd presume something went screwy in both of those cases. The DDU procedure of uninstalling then manually clean installing the driver seemingly did the trick so I think it would be best that I do this every time I have to update the driver then. If there are any issues in the coming week, I shall update this thread. Otherwise, I shall mark it as solved by then. Again, thank you!

Unless you really need GeForce Experience I would not use it. The NVCleanstall utility I introduced you to in my last post will help to ensure it does not get reinstalled.

Hello! Unfortunately, the bluescreen has returned again, even after performing a clean install of the driver (version 466.11) using NVCleaninstall and making sure only the components mentioned before would be installed. This time reflecting as PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and clearly mentioning nvlddmkm.sys as the faulting module in the bluescreen as well. I have uploaded fresh V2 and tuneup logs for further consideration below. Thank you for the continued support!.

New info: I have run the Windows Memory Diagnostics tool in Standard mode and it came up clean with no errors detected. Should I try with Extended mode or run Memtest86+ instead? Also I have performed another clean install of my graphics driver. this time from Dell's own website with driver version 457.71. I shall update further if more issues happen.

I agree with you that it is the graphics driver again. I'm not convinced it is the RAM but it does no harm to check with Memtest86. Let's see if the Dell recommended version works better. You may need to prevent Windows Update from updating the graphics driver to a more recent version otherwise you will find the problem comes back again.
