Random freezing - Driver Verifier BSOD

So my PC has been having random, unexplained crashes for several months, but almost always when idle and when I'm not around - so I never get to see the BSOD. I never find anything in Event Viewer. Today I ran Driver Verifier which finally forced the faulting driver to BSOD on startup. Which means I now have a DMP file to share with you guys.

Here are some things I have tried:

I have run SFC /scannow and the restore health option
I have run CHKDSK /r
I have tried DDU and AMD driver reinstalls

Specs:
OS: Windows 10 Home 20H2 X64 Build 19042.867
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) X4 860K Quad Core Processor 3.70 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GB
GPU: Radeon RX480

The faulty driver is the usbfilter.sys driver, i.e. the USB filter driver from AMD. There has been no update for this driver in a long time, so the simpler solution is to uninstall this driver. By the way, include logs from the collector log - BSOD - Posting Instructions

Thanks and sorry about that. I'm a member on a few forums and I guess I was using protocol from one of them. I have attached it again here: DESKTOP-HKT3HKC-(2021-04-12_14-07-15).zip

How do I uninstall the driver?

As I wrote, uninstall the USB filter driver from AMD. You can uninstall it by deleting the usbfilter.sys file located in C: \ Windows \ System32

New problem!! Deleting usbfilter.sys has completely turned off USB functionality on my PC. I can't use my computer now. Mouse and keyboard not detected. I can get into windows repair after rebooting 3x - mouse works there. What do I do? I can't have usbfilter.sys because it crashes my PC, but I need it so I can use my mouse and keyboard 😳😫

So it turns out that your computer needs the usbfilter.sys driver. If you have it in the recycle bin, you can restore it via the command line which you can run in the Windows repair menu (you can also run the Recycle Bin window in this command line) - Recover Deleted Files Using Command Prompt in Windows 10 – Hassle Free Solution

I did a system restore and USB is working again. I had actually cut/pasted the driver files into a folder on my desktop for safe keeping - buuuut I forgot what I named the folder.

So how to I fix the crashes and BSOD's caused by usbfilter.sys now?

Hmm, the blue screens caused by this file are only when you test it with Driver Verifier from what I can see. The situation is boring because there is no update of this driver, and the USB controller in your motherboard requires it to work properly. It remains to not test this driver via Driver Verifier
