    Windows 10 Pro BSOD

    Hello,
I just started getting the BSOD last night. I was working on my laptop, as usual, and all of a sudden, the system froze. No other option than to hard reboot. When it came back, as per my usual habit, I started Task Manager (performance tab). I got another BSOD in less than 2 seconds. It repeated on the next attempts as well. On the third attempt, I did not start Task Manager right away, and it stayed up. I started task manager after about 5 minutes and it crashed again. Then, I went to sleep.

Today, I retried the above steps and it happened again. Then, tried the sfc /scannow and dism commands, but it did not help. But then, I restarted task manager but did not click on the performance tab. The laptop has been up for about 45 minutes now.

I have collected the V12 logs (attached here). I have not collected the DM logs yet. Should I?

Also, while composing this post, found this: Blue Screen of the day—update crashes Windows 10 PCs on print | Ars Technica

I found that KB50000802 was installed last night by Microsoft. I have now uninstalled it (but the attached logs are before this uninstall).

Windows version number: 2004 (OS Build 19041.867)

    Please help.
    Thanks.

You might have a look at this information: Download Cumulative update KB5000802 for Windows 10 version 20H2 and 2004

The update of NVIDIA graphics driver (using the above link) failed with a message that the system is configured to require a standard windows driver type. See attached.

Hello, please try again, but this time instead of "Express" installation choose "Custom" and the check "Clean installation" checkbox.

If not working you can get standard driver from here:
    Advanced Driver Search | NVIDIA

zebal, you are a savior. The earlier download did not give an option to choose "custom" or "express". It identified the incompatibility before giving those options. The standard driver (downloaded 392.63-quadro-desktop-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe) was good - did a clean install as you suggested. I restarted the system after that (just for my sake). The task manager has not crashed since then, even though I am on the performance tab. It has been more than 5 minutes - used to crash in 2 seconds.

Thank you so much, appreciate all the help from all the members.
