    I think I have like 20gb free right now so I'll try copy and paste to the HD. I'll update tomorrow.

    Ok.
    Minimum for routine upgrade = 30 GB.
    If possible, free up 40 GB to allow more fee space for windows.old.

    I did the custom install today so I'm now back in. Still reinstalling all my apps and such but it's a lot better than not being able to my PC at all. Thank you very much for your patience and persistence with walking me through steps. +Rep
