I don't mean to continue uselessly about the memory test, but I notice its version 4.20 and not 5.01. Version 5.01 has lots of improvements that don't make 4.20 worth it running anymore. If you have the time, I would recommend running memtest86+ with version 5.01.

Good to see, but I unfortunately see something else as well. Your system runs on 8GB of RAM using memory modules that are not tested to work together, which goes a bit further to what Philc43 said. The modules in slots 0 and 2 have not been tested to work with the modules in slots 1 and 3. This does not necessarily mean it is bad, mixed memory models can work together so long as their specs are similar or the same which does not look to be the case here.

A bad combination of memory modules can cause problems, from what I see it may be the case that the combination of memory isn't good.

tho the memory configuration has been the same since the system was built, back in June 2015!

Sorry to say, but this is not a reason to assume it is fine now. Hardware can go bad after years of usage and software changes along the way. There is no guarantee what worked years ago still works now.

As you can see from the screenshot, I'm writing this msg on the same machine I'm testing - at your request, more than once - that is error free! The SSD I've got online at the minute is a backup with Win 10 on it. The SSD with the Win 10 BSOD error is offline so the installation can be repaired, hopefully. I have tried to boot the installation with 2xOCZ sticks in slots 0,2 but alas, still get the same BSOD error, it was one of the first things I did before reaching out to your marvellous selves on this site! So, what to do about this bug...

    Okay, good to know.

Have you mentioned anywhere, whether this thread or your other thread, which SSD it is that is causing the problem?

It is NOT a hardware error, the drive has been tested and passed 100%. Is a software error, maybe a driver...

Please answer my question, I would like to know on what SSD the crashes occur. I also just realized that my question was poorly worded. I did not mean to say that the SSD is causing the problems, I meant to ask on which SSD the problem is occurring.

Just for your information, a SSD can cause problems even when it's perfectly fine physically. Such problems are firmware related. Have you ever done a firmware update on the SSD or checked for it?

It's on the HyperX Drive. I've run Kingstons own SSD Diagnostics software and it checked out 100%, also the firmware is the latest. I also checked the drive with software off this site and also was 100% fine.

As you can see, it's all 100%!

@axe0 Just so you know there was only ever 1 drive on the system, that's the HyperX SSD. I had a spare SSD so I installed a fresh install of Windows 10 on it an booted off that SSD an plugged in the HyperX as a Second drive so I can access it etc.

So what to do about the bug...

Just to inform you, while I may appear online I am a student at a university following classes regardless of the pandemic. I am doing so from home on my computer that has one tab open for tenforums. While I do see notifications and check in a few times a day, I do not want to bring any expectations about prompt replies just because I appear online.

Regarding the test results, something to keep in mind: while software test results are indicative of a status there is no guarantee that the hardware is indeed as the software reports. A software test cannot 100% accurately say that the RAM or hard drive is healthy. This is due to software limitations, software-based tests cannot completely test the hardware because of complexity. Software tests are suggested regardless because they usually do give a fairly accurate representation.
