PC freezes and restarts

I have successfully registered sustain.dll, but as for mmcss, cannot find it in services.
Audiosrv DependOnService is there, but before I delete its value data, I wanted to check the step after restart: MMCSS is missing from services, so I did not follow through this step and did not delete the value data from Audiosrv.

Ok, make sure you research/google anything you are not sure of.
Forget about mmcss & move on if you are still getting freezing.

Well.. It froze and restarted just now..

I have registered it successfully yesterday, but I did not update visual c++ yet. I will check if there is an update available.

I have updated visual c++ yesterday.
It just froze showing a green blank screen.

I have manually restart the system and it has frozen and rebooted, after OS was loaded.

Refresh me, is it a PC or laptop?
How old is it?

It is a PC. I have bought it 3 months ago.

I would install that & test to see if the freezing stops. It replaces a very, very old driver.
