Hello,
Sorry if there has been any confusion but I will try and clear up exactly which drives are which as I don't think I have made it very clear. So I have 3 drives currently in my system:
- C drive - My M.2 128GB which had my version of windows that I have been using for the last few years (since I built my PC in 2018) and am now unable to access
- E drive - the 1TB crucial SSD which I more recently purchased and installed, also this drive is where I attempted install the new version of windows to trouble shoot what has happened to my C drive but now cannot access this version either as it seems to have gone RAW
- D drive - 1TB HDD which I got when I built my PC
So at the moment the only version of windows I have is the rescue media which I created using this:
Win10XPE - Build Your Own Rescue Media
I should be able to create a fresh install of windows on my D drive though if that is what is needed to get the rest of the data required.

I had already tried this above solution but it did not work for me. Also I ran miniTool partition wizard and here was the result:
Can you access drive C and E via Win10XPE?
I can access most of my files in the C drive but my E drive is completely unusable at the moment, it says it needs formatting when I click on it.
At this point though I am not worried about data recovery, I would basically just like to get my E drive back to being usable and fresh install windows onto it as my C drive seems to have a lot of damaged blocks so I will just be removing that from my system and replacing it with a new drive.
Have you tried to format drive E? If MiniTool does not work, tryDiskPart
I can try now, if I am able to format the E drive in Win10XPE am I able to then fresh install windows onto the E drive using windows 10 install media?
If you are able to format it, you can use Win10XPE to clean install Windows 10 on it. You don't need a separate installation medium at all because Win10XPE can mount a Windows ISO file.
Oh ok, do you have a link to a tutorial I can follow to mount the windows ISO to it?
