    Computer FULL FREEZING only when left idle.


    Hello, i would appreciate any help this is driving me crazy!
    I recently updated my bios with a flashdrive containing the update from MSI's website and this completely messed my computer up. First it wouldn't even boot up windows. (I fixed this by changing my boot priority back to my ssd because it switched it. )
    The only problem left that I am having is that when turn my computer on, it will completely freeze if I do not launch a video game quickly.
    Very weird but when i close the video game, it will eventually freeze.
    any advice??

    Welcome to the forum. Open task manager and check the starup tab which will tell you the impact of each startup program. Is there a lot running at startup that may cause the problem

    Before I updated bios, i never froze. I will try to disable unneeded startup programs but I dont believe this would cause them to full crash.

    If you flahed the bios did you then clear the bios and reset or it wont work
