While trouble shooting another problem I reinstalled Win10 on a newly formatted SSD. I updated all drivers per the instructions but I'm still getting BSODs. (log attached)

Get rid of Avast and just use windows 10 built in AV.

According to your PNP Devices log, you're missing your SM Bus controller.
SM Bus Controller Error 28 Drivers for this device are not installed. SM Bus Controller

You also have 2 more errors in that log
PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller Error 28 Drivers for this device are not installed. PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller

    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A379&SUBSYS_A3791849&REV_10\3&11583659&0&90
PCI Device Error 28 Drivers for this device are not installed. PCI Device

Those 3 are generally associated with the chipset driver.

On this new OS install (log attached in my last comment) I don't have Avast installed. I downloaded the installer but haven't run it yet.

Is this based off of the 2021-01-20 log? thanks
