BSOD whilst gaming & streaming.

Hi, I had the dreaded BSOD tonight while playing Black Ops Cold War, my pc just locked up on me, I restarted and all was fine. I have also been having a issue where I would login to my pc and the screen would stay black with a mouse cursor, I can Alt + CTRL + Del and see the normal blue screen with task manager etc but nothing opens when clicked. I have to reboot the pc and it returns to normal, might not be related but thought i'd mention it anyway.

Thanks guys

Hi anthrax2471 ,

I followed the "CODE" instructions originally, I have tried the [dos] this time, I'm not sure if I've done it correctly so appologies if not done correctly.

I have included screenshots of the CMD if that helps

If you had followed the CODE instructions the data you posted would have been formatted correctly. I'm not sure what you did so I'll walk through it.

First, which instructions did you follow? The one from the Blue information screen or the ones in the BSOD Batch Repository that are right after the section where you downloaded the batch file?

If you followed the instructions in the Blue Information screen, these are the instructions:

Attachment 307587

Copy the results from the Command Prompt or Powershell window and paste
them into a post on TenForums:

You did not seem to have any problem with this.

Go to your thread in the BSOD section, start a new post, and paste the text
you copied into your post (press Ctrl + V or right-click and select [Paste]).

Select the text you just pasted into your post. Then, on the editor toolbar,
click on the hashtag icon [#] to wrap tags around the selected
text. The data will appear in a code box, properly formatted and easy to read.
This means there will be
and
tags placed at the beginning and end of the selected text.

Before you post, click on the [Go Advanced] button at the bottom on the right
to see what it looks like
and, if you have made any additional changes, click
on the [Preview Post] button, so that you can see what it looks like before
you actually post it. Click on the [Submit Reply] button as long as you are
satisfied with it.
What else can I add or change that will make that more understandable?

IF you followed the instructions in the BSOD Batch Repository, these are the instructions:

Attachment 307582

That will take you here:

Attachment 307583

That will take you here:
Attachment 307584
Attachment 307585

And that will take you here to finish:
Attachment 307586

Again, what can I add, delete or change to make this clearer?

Would you mind running the following script and uploading the LOG file created on the desktop?

Tuneup_plus_log.bat

That should be the simplest way.

If you had followed the CODE instructions the data you posted would have been formatted correctly. I'm not sure what you did so I'll walk through it.

Hey @Ztruker your instructions were clear enough I was being dumb
First, which instructions did you follow? The one from the Blue information screen or the ones in the BSOD Batch Repository that are right after the section where you downloaded the batch file?

If you followed the instructions in the Blue Information screen, these are the instructions:

Attachment 307587

You did not seem to have any problem with this.

This means there will be
and
tags placed at the beginning and end of the selected text.

Hey bud your instructions were clear I wasn't following correctly, sorry I hope I've done it correctly this time?
