    Code:

Is the original version of "LOGS.bat" able to determine the file name?

@zbook, I have combined the CMD and PowerShell scripts into the batch script attached below:

As a test, I just ran it on my system. It took about 20 seconds and produced a zip folder on the Desktop containing 6 files. It also produced a EVTX Sub-Folder.

    I hope this helps.

    The script worked well.

Please place a version number on the script that can be viewed.

When available please post new scripts with only one box checked in the LOGS PS1 pop up.

z3r010 may check them one at a time for PII and then they could be uploaded to WQ and EF.

You may ask z3r010 to check the following one. I will not write new scripts until this one has been approved.

    @z3r010 ,

Please evaluate this new script of event logs and top errors for PII.

These are the results on one computer:
Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

    Thanks.

Matthew Wai please rename Event viewer and top errors and create a version number so it can be uploaded as a forum resource.

z3r010 please indicate any preferences once it is renamed.

There is a batch file section on Windows Q.
    Add to this section?

There are two sections so far in EF: BSOD tools and Diagnostic Tools scripts and tools.
Add to one of these or create a new section so the scripts have access control?

How is the script protected from modification?

Should the file name be "Event_Viewer_&_ top_errors.bat"?
Should the version number, i.e. the date, be included in the file name or file content?
