    The flash is caused by the following line, which will get administrative privileges.

    (Net session >nul 2>&1)||(PowerShell start """%~f0""" -verb RunAs & Exit /B)

    @Ztruker, should the above line be removed so as to kill the flash?

    Would this not involve having MORE instructions for them to read to tell them how to run the Batch Script with Administrative Privileges?

    Users will have to right-click on the script and select "Run as administrator".

    I know that Matthew!!!

    What I was saying was that they do NOT read the instruction now, let alone having any NEW and added instructions to read.

    They pay no attention to instructions, which are straightforward.
    They pay no attention to flashes, which are just momentary.

    The flashes occurred in Ztruker's video.
    And the flashes occurred on multiple computers.
    So it is highly likely it will occur on other computers.
    If possible please modify the flashes.

    @zbook, do you see a flash when you run Ztruker's "Tuneup.bat"?
    "Tuneup.bat" uses the following line:

    (Net session >nul 2>&1)||(PowerShell start """%~fn0""" -verb RunAs & Exit /B)

    I have just modified "Tuneup_plus_log.bat", which now uses the same line as "Tuneup.bat" does.
    See whether there are flashes.
