BSODs only when using qbittorrents, no error returned by WinDBG dps

    Hello,

    Win10 version 2004 (19041.508)

These BSOD's only happen when I'm using qBittorrent and the error codes are pretty much always different.
With WinDBG I saw a number of different drivers accused to be the cause of the bsod's. I think the only one that came a few times is Ndu.sys.
Doing "!thread" and "dps" in windbg never outputs any error, only warnings and sometimes no warnings either.
I've seen so many threads about qBittorrent BSOD's and it's always a different cause because qBittorrent itself is not the culprit so I'm a bit lost.

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Lantha

    1) Please change the default language to English so that the logs can be scanned:

Change Display Language in Windows 10

    2) Upload a new V2.

    3) Uninstall Avast AV using the applicable uninstall tool:
Avast Uninstall Utility | Download aswClear for Avast Removal

    4) Make sure Microsoft defender is on.

    5) Run tuneup.bat:

    6) Uninstall and reinstall:

Quick question : I've been using Avast for years and it is very useful, why should I uninstall it ?

A newly installed or an old Windows operating system can become corrupt.

In a similar fashion the newest or oldest drivers can become corrupt.

    Uninstalling software uninstalls its drivers.

When the computer environment is stable the software can be reinstalled.

So Avast can be reinstalled once there is a period of stability.
    Anticipate 4 days of monitoring.

I actually uninstalled and reinstalled these exact two drivers very recently. The cfosspeed one 2 or 3 days ago and the realtek one this afternoon. Do I have to do it again ?

The logs displayed: Language: French (Regional Setting: French)

See if you can modify to English.

For the drivers please uninstall or uninstall and reinstall.

If you don't need cfosspeed6.sys cFosSpeed - The Internet Accelerator then uninstall > monitor stability / instabilty

I had to restart my computer for dxdiag to detect the new display language. here is my new V2 if you need it.

Here is a summary of what I've done since your post :

    • uninstalled completely and reinstalled realtek driver (again, just now)
    • uninstalled completely cfosspeed (ended up doing it just now)
    • uninstalled avast

What is the next step ? Testing if qbittorrent runs without causing bsods ?

    Use the computer as usual.
    Monitor for stability / instability.
For any BSOD > run V2.
If there are no BSOD for 4 days > reinstall Avast
    That will complete the troubleshooting.

Will view the new logs this evening.
