    random BSODs

    Hi all,

I'm running Windows 10 Pro version 2004. I'm getting random BSODs and I cannot pin point the source. Perhaps someone can kindly shed some light on the source of the problem. Zip files attached here.

    Attachment 300219

    Thanks in advance

Update BIOS - TUF SABERTOOTH 990FX R3.0 Driver & Tools | Płyty głowne | ASUS Polska
It is also worth changing the speed, voltage, clocks and RAM timings in the BIOS, connect the RAM to other slots, start the computer with only one RAM chip and thus check the efficiency of all RAM chips and replace the RAM with another

    Hi @MrPepka,
Thanks for the support. Updating the bios shouldn't be a problem and I'll reset everything to defaults. Regarding checking the efficiency of ram; is there a standard way of checking ram efficiency?
    Thanks again

If the system is unstable, and you are sure that it is not the drivers or the BIOS, and the rest of the components are operational, this is how you will check the efficiency of the RAM. Therefore, it is worth checking what I wrote to you earlier

So I've updated the bios and 10s after rebooting, the PSU blew up. Found out that at least one cap and the 5A plug fuse blew. Thankfully, the motherboard finished the bios update and the components remained intact and functional.
Today I've installed a new PSU and the system is up and running. Not sure if a failing PSU could cause the random BSODs but will revert back if they occur.
    Thanks a lot for support.

Today I just got a BSOD again :/ I'm attaching the new zip file perhaps there is some new information. In the meantime I've updated the BIOS, set everything to default and installed a new PSU since the pervious one blew up.

    thanks in advance

One of the best tests for DDR3 RAM is memtest86+

    Diagnostic Test

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat. In this way you can find which sticks or slots may be faulty.
