    BSOD on custom built desktop


    I keep on getting BSOD frequently with different stop codes.
    I would appreciate any help since this computer is essentially not usable.

    With such a variety of errors we would suspect a hardware problem. Many times the dump file creation has also failed.

    I would start by testing your disks and memory.

    Run Memtest86 twice in succession for a total of 8 passes. Report back on the results by posting an image of the screen summary at the end of each group of 4 passes.

    For the disks there are many test programs, I usually recommend HDTune. After HDTune you can check the disks for corruption by running SFC and CHKDSK.
    Run HDTune to
    • check the health,
    • scan for errors, run the full scan
    • run a benchmark.

    It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
    When above is done please make screenshots of the following
    • the health,
    • the error scan,
    • the benchmark incl. following
      • transfer rate,
      • access time,
      • burst rate,
      • cpu usage.
