    Sharing experience with system_thread_exception_not_handled -- Ndu.sys

This is to share my experience with the BSOD "system thread exception not handled", Ndu.sys failed.

I was getting this BSOD with increasing frequency. It was up to every 5-10 minutes.

I uninstalled Malwarebytes Premium. Don't know the version now that it is gone, but I updated it in the last few weeks. I uninstalled it 2 days ago and haven't had a BSOD since. I notified Malwarebytes .

    Windows 10 v10.0.19041 Build 19041
Dell T1700. Stock other than an SSD.

I assume you are referring to my comment "I notified Malwarebytes ." That happened as I uninstalled the program. A textbox popped up wanting to know why I was uninstalling. That is where I explained the situation. At that time I did not know whether uninstalling was going to stop the BSODs or not.

There is a thread though, here: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topi...usys/#comments

That thread was never really resolved but indicated Avast was the likely cause. It was also an Insider build.

I was looking for something to try to fix the BSODs and saw Malwarebytes discussed there -- even though not resolved. Since I had just updated that program I uninstalled it on hypothesis. I haven't had a BSOD since.

I could put it back to see if the BSOD returns -- but that might be looking for trouble.

I have Malwarebytes running flawlessly on my HP Sprectre laptop. Its OS is Windows 10 home v10.0 18363.

You could also try uninstalling Kaspersky, reinstalling Malwarebytes and run with Defender and Malwarebytes.
I also turn this on so they run concurrently as they used to. Not sure itf it's present in the free version, may only be with Premium.
